Fees

The fee is $225 per session . A therapy session lasts approximately 60 minutes. The last 10 minutes are reserved for administrative purposes, such as billing and scheduling the next appointment.​

 

New Brunswick Medicare does not cover the cost of consulting with psychologists in private practice. Fortunately, most insurance companies offer coverage for these services. You are encouraged to contact your insurer to obtain more information about your coverage.

 

Accepted methods of payment are electronic transfers, debit, credit and cash. Fees must be paid at the end of the session. An official receipt will be provided to you so that you can submit it to your insurance for reimbursement. It is also recommended to keep your receipts because psychological services are tax deductible.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments missed or canceled within a 24-hour period will be billed* at 50% of the usual fees. These fees must be paid before scheduling a future appointment. If they remain unpaid, the credit card on file will be billed.

 

If you arrive late, the session will be shortened to end at the scheduled time. The full session fee will still be charged.

* Please note that expenses associated with missed or cancelled appointments cannot be claimed as medical expenses for insurance reimbursement or tax deduction.
